OUTPUTS Ordered according to the Application:

D1 Raw materials in partner languages

Promised: Raw materials (interesting applications of ICT technologies can develop the visualization process, the ability to generate, retain and manipulate abstract spatial images and mathematically interesting tasks missing context) that have been collected on the national level of the participating institutions' home.

D2 Correlation meeting

Promised: Partners will report about the materials they collected on a national level; these will then be evaluated. Decision which materials will be used for book and courses will be made. A meeting of the steering committee will take place.

D3 Raw materials in EN

Promised: Raw materials (interesting applications of of ICT technologies can develop the visualization process, the ability to generate, retain and manipulate abstract spatial images and mathematically interesting tasks missing context) that have been collected during workpackage 1 will be translated in English language.

D4 Materials for book and courses in EN

Promised: Materials (applications, tasks) that are considered ready for use in teacher education and teaching, being suitable and motivating.

D5 E-Book editing meeting EN

Promised: As volume and content of book is clear by now, this meeting will start the editing process; the structure of the book and the layout will be discussed and decided at this meeting. A meeting of the steering committee will take place.

Promised: Materials (applications, tasks) that are considered ready for use in national languages of each of partner institutions.

D7 Preparatory courses materials

Promised: Materials (applications, tasks) that are considered ready for use in national languages of each of partner institutions.

D8 Preparatory courses

Promised: Place: partner countries; Date: Month 20; Duration: 1-2 days; Participants: ~20 per course (2 partner staff + teachers). Courses and workshops will allow pre-service and in-service teachers in mathematics to work with the materials and try them out in a peer framework, and give feedback to the partners on how to improve both the courses and the materials.

D9 E-book with materials

Promised: The book will be in EN, containing sample materials in each of the partner languages (DE, IT, IS, DA, BG, SK). Total number of pages is approximately 700. Book with materials:

a) Examples how the use of ICT can develop further the visualization process

b) Examples of simulations of real or hypothetical processes, so that appropriate math models will be constructed and will be further improved to aid the learner

c) Instructions and tips on how to use ICT to improve the simulations.

D10 Articles/reports for dissemination of results

Promised: Copies: depending on the journal/conference proceedings; Volume: ~3-5 pages per partner in English and evtl. Partner languages.

D11 E-learning course materials

Promised: Materials (applications, tasks) that are considered ready for use in national languages of each of partner institutions.

D12 Final conference

Promised: Place: SK; Date: Month 36; Duration: 2 days; Participants: 13 (2 per partner + 1 evaluator) + ~50-100 national and international participants (pre- and in-service teachers, teacher trainers, mathematics educators, PhD students, media representatives, academics) . The outputs (E-Book, courses, E-Learning course) will be presented at a final conference. Partners will present materials in talks and presentations.

D13 International workshop for teachers and educators

Promised: Place: SK; Date: Month 36; Duration: 2 days; Participants: 13 (2 per partner + 1 evaluator) + ~50-100 national and international participants (pre- and in-service teachers, teacher trainers, mathematics educators, PhD students in mathematics education) . Attendants will receive materials (electronically or in print), then will work in groups with the materials (E - Book, E-Learning Course), try them out with their peers, discuss about them, take them to their institutions to distribute them there.

D14 Website with project materials

Promised: format: web-based information (materials and E-Book in pdf, E-Learning course in a suitable E-Learning environment). The website will initially contain information about the project, the workplan, and the partners. It will be kept up to date and represent the current state of the project. As materials become available, the website will contain the electronic version of the final materials (E-Book), as well as the E-Learning courses (or – should they be externally hosted – links to the E-Learning.

D15 E-Learning Courses and workshops

Promised: Place: partner countries; Date: Month 29; Duration: 1-2 days; Participants: ~30 per course (2 partner staff + teachers) In the courses, teachers and eventually teacher trainers will work with the E-Book materials, try out the ELearning course, and experiment with ICT tools to develop their own ideas of dynamic and creative computer uses. Also E-Learning courses of the other partner institutions can be tried out. Partners will try to include the finalized E-Learning courses and workshops.

D17 Annual evaluation reports

Promised: Years 1,2 and 3 evaluation reports of the external evaluator, to be considered by the Steering committee, and to be sent to the EACEA with the required interim and final project reports.

D17a Kick-off meeting

Promised: Venue: IT; Date: Month 2; Duration: 5 days; Participants: 6 Kick-off meeting to clarify formal points of management (reporting, contracting, budget), distribute workload, answer formal and practical questions, and setting up work on topics collection and preliminary website content.

D18 Intermediate management meeting

Promised: Venue: IS; Date: Month 9; Duration: 5 days; Participants: 6 Meeting to present and discuss raw materials in EN, and decide about possible improvements.

D19 Feedback management meeting

Promised: Venue: DK; Date: Month 20; Duration: 5 days; Participants: 6. Meeting to report about preparatory course materials and about preparatory course execution, and discuss feedback from preparatory courses and workshops. Also to discuss about possible journals and conferences for presentation and dissemination of articles and reports.

D20 Final E-Book editing and feedback meeting EN

Promised: Venue: IT; Date: Month 24; Duration: 5 days; Participants: 7 (1 per partner + 1 evaluator). Meeting for final editing of E-Book content and layout, and to give feedback about reports and plans or results of conference and journal contributions. Also to discuss and decide about suitable E-Learning environment and file format questions.

D21 Management meeting EN

Promised: Venue: AT; Date: Month 29; Duration: 5 days; Participants: 6. Meeting to report about E-Learning course materials and execution of E-Learning courses, also to report about dissemination activities and possibilities of including courses in regular curriculum of teacher training or other school related activities of partner institutions.

D22 Management meeting to improvement of E-course EN

Promised: The meeting will collect the feedback information from e-learning courses and will give conclusions and suggestions for further improvements of the e-learning course.

D23 Final meeting of project team

Promised: Overall project co-ordination; communication with the EACEA; attendance of meetings in Brussels; chairing meetings of the steering committee; managing financial and organisational aspects of partner 1; hosting meetings (deliverables 17, 20).
